Human-only training teams are encouraged if you feel your dog will be overwhelmed by being in a room with other dogs on leash. Class size is limited so each team has space to work....

We are offering two one-topic workshops in May. Each interactive workshop is 60 minutes long and the fee for each is $30. Wednesday, May 15 at 7:30 PM Take Me Out to the Dog Park:Playing it Safe Off-Leash (humans only) Sometimes it can feel scary to let your dog run free in the park. At this workshop you will learn to identify the signals of good play between dogs. We will also discuss how to prepare your dog for safe play in advance, how to intervene before a fight happens, and what to do if a fight happens while you are at the dog park....

We are all so excited that all of our employees earned or renewed their pet first aid and CPR certification this past Saturday at Doggedly Devoted. We were also joined by dog trainer and Academy student Ann Marie. Our instructor was Robyn from In Home Pet Services. In addition to the stuffed models, we were also aided by Lexie, Quetche, Amber, Tallulah, and Moon Unit. Here are a few photos:
