Emily Davis is one of those people who just needs a dog in her life. She had had a shepherd mix named Noah for 15 years until Noah passed away in January 2013.
After about six months of healing after Noah’s passing, Emily met a dog of a friend who convinced her that she was ready to welcome another dog into her life, and Emily’s partner, April Davis fully supported her decision....
On May 17 six of our Doggedly Devoted staff members completed In-Home Pet Services Pet First Aid and CPR course Congratulations to Christian, Gregory, Maria, and Briauna! Jacob and Kira both completed the course for the second time. Great job, guys!
There is an outbreak of kennel cough affecting dogs in Harlem and throughout the city. Kennel cough is an illness caused by a mix of bacterial and viral components, and it is very easily spread through the air, contact with other dogs, and contact with items with which infected dogs have been in contact.

In-Home Pet Services will be offering Pet First Aid and CPR to Doggedly Devoted staff members on May 17. Additional spots are available if you would like to join us. The course tuition is $85. The class will run from 9 am to 1 pm. Pet First Aid is the immediate care given to a pet who is injured or ill. Knowing the skills and techniques of pet first aid can mean the difference between life and death for your pet....
On April 1 Doggedly Devoted will roll out a new energy-saving program to support our mission of protecting the environment. All daycare dogs will be fitted with a Motovoltaic Energy Capture Device. These devices capture the energy of a dog’s tail wag. Because the dogs at Doggedly Devoted are so cheerful and happy, we anticipate not only supplying our own electrical needs with this program, but also feeding a lot of energy back into the grid....
