The ASPCA recommends that you arrive at the locationbefore 7:00 A.M. The ASPCA usually serves about 20-25 animals per day on a first-come, first-served basis, filled to capacity. The cost for the surgery is $125 if you are not on public assistance and $5 if you have proof of public assistance....
Our March Wag and Wine is this Friday, March 15 from 7 to 8:30 PM. On the third Friday of each month, Doggedly Devoted hosts open play for dogs and their humans. Well-socialized dogs with up-to-date vaccinations are welcome to come and play with their owners. Enjoy light refreshments and good company with us. . We separate dogs by size–small and large, and we ask that you bring only one or two dogs per human....
Monique and Gregory McNeil intended their trip to Animal Care & Control in September as a reconnaissance mission. They didn’t plan to take home a dog right away. And Monique was really uncertain about getting a pit bull.
Then they met Amber.
Amber is a brown pit bull with a white chest and white markings on her face and paws. She was probably about a year old at the time. They didn’t know anything about her background, which made Monique a little nervous....
